Using an 1 1/4 # 17  ship auger bit - drill approximately 10" into the ground.  Then place the Color-Flex marker into the drilled hole.  Using a piece of PVC about 15" long slip it over the  Color-Flex marker and set it on the PVC your about to tap into the ground (see picture 3 & 4).  Tap the Color-Flex marker down until level with soil.  With your foot press down the lose soil.
